A model that shows shipping on the Danube in the 19th century, made as part of a museum exhibition to be implemented in the framework of the project entitled “Improving the cultural life of Szekszárd through the Renewal of the County Hall and its Neighborhood”. On the water floats a barge and a ship mill, and horses from the shore pull the barge. The boats were entirely made of wood and were handled with boat coating. Visitors can use a switch to activate an engine for 30 seconds, which rotates the the undershot water wheel of the ship mill, while simultaneously pumps move the water (depicting the flow of the Danube).
Scale: 1:43, size 130 × 90 cm.
